Communication Officer

The Communication Officer will play a crucial role in the project’s communication content and ensuring consistent, effective communication both internally and externally. This position involves creating, managing, and distributing content that conveys the project’s activities to various stakeholders, including employees, clients, partners, and the media.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write, edit, and publish content for various platforms, including newsletters, website, social media, and other communication channels.
  • Create compelling stories, articles, and promotional materials that align with the organization's brand and messaging.
  • Develop and execute social media strategies to increase engagement and reach.
  • Monitor and respond to comments and messages on social media platforms.
  • Analyze social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of events, including press conferences, public speaking engagements, and community outreach programs.
  • Prepare event materials, including speeches, presentations, and promotional items.
  • Ensure all communication materials are consistent with the organization's branding and messaging guidelines.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of successful media relations and content creation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms, including social media, content management systems, and graphic design software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Creative and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for communication and storytelling.
