On the Job Training (OJT) Attendant

The On-the-Job Training (OJT) Attendant is responsible for supporting the implementation of the OJT activities for the youth programme This includes supporting the OJT activities, as well as supporting in creating the necessary Bills of Quantities (BOQs), implementation plans, and lists of materials needed. The OJT Attendant is also involved with assisting in outreach, registration, and enrolment of youth participants, maintaining records, and ensuring the youth center is well-equipped and maintained. The OJT attendant will ensure that program administrative tasks are in adherence to NRC’s Code of Conduct and Protection Policy. The OJT Attendant will work closely with Youth Officer/s and educators.


Responsibilities:
•Support outreach, registration, and enrollment of youth, documenting attendance and supporting in related administrative tasks.
•Provide support for the On-the-Job Training (OJT) activities, including material preparation, BOQs, approvals, and logistical preparations.
•Support in organizing local bazaars and age-appropriate/non-discriminatory recreational activities, while also setting up appointments for the graduate club.
•Participate in trainings delivered by NRC and ensure the application of SIP standards during activities.
•Assist in center maintenance (light maintenance) and follow up on daily labor tasks.
•Ensure proper data compilation for vocational courses and center needs, manage inventory, and ensure materials are properly used and stored safely.
•Report implementation progress to the Youth Officer, including attendance records.
•Adhere to NRC’s internal code of conduct and policies.
•Shadow and assist technical educators, provide necessary technical support,


Qualifications and Relevant Skills:
•Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field or proven equivalent experience.
•One to two years of working experience in technical setup, technical personnel supervision is a plus.
•Very good command of using a computer, good command of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel is a plus.
•Ability to listen actively, understand, communicate effectively, and discuss with other educators, and Youth.
•Strong oral and written communication skills.
