ICT Consultant (Systems, Sustainability, and Digitalization). 8 months project

Below is a breakdown of the scope of work for this task: 1. Prepare Terms of References (ToRs) for all activities under this consultancy scope. 2. Liaise with UNICEF, WEs, and the awarded contractor(s) to ensure proper management and implementation of a Solar system for SLWE and EBML and power storage capacity expansion for BWE and NLWE to ensure power sustainability and needed autonomy for the SCADA systems at WEs. 3. Planning & supervising the relocation of SCADA system to EBML in Baabda.Provide technical assistance in surveying, designing, reporting, coordinating, following-up with contractors, and delivering of results for these implementations. 5. Prepare the specifications for the above system to include all the detailed technical information, Bill of Quantity (BoQ), estimated budget, and resources plan for the design, architecture, and implementation, as applicable. 6. Submit project documentation and its progress and undertake site visits to measure deliverables. 7. Develop projects implementation timelines and ensure they are respected. 8. Liaise with UNICEF ICT and UNICEF WASH, and report on technical gauge for implementation and progress as needed and requested by supervisor. 9. Provide technical support, on job-coaching and guidance to ICT team at WEs. 10. Conduct sites visit where needed, and as requested by the supervisor, to WEs sites and liaise with representatives of WEs and share reports with observations, actions points, resources, and recommendations. 11. Develop frequent reports on projects’ activities and work progress and share them with UNICEF WASH (Communication & Engagement) and WEs ICT teams. The ICT CONSULTANT will follow up on the required activities according to the needs. This is a full-time position that requires both office presence and field assessment and monitoring visits across Lebanon and follow up with all implementing partners (contractors and consultants) of the projects.
