Job Description:
Research and Data Collection: Conduct a thorough review of existing documentation and databases to gather preliminary data. Design and implement primary research methods such as surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions with key stakeholders.
Stakeholder Analysis: Analyze collected data to categorize stakeholders by relevance, influence, and interest. Identify potential partnership opportunities and points of synergy, as well as risks and challenges together with the local NGO lead.
Co-host stakeholder local meetings: Host jointly with the local NGO lead a stakeholder meetings in which development topics and needs for the humanitarian sector in Lebanon are being discussed with relevant stakeholders.
Mapping and Reporting: Develop a visual stakeholder map that can be updated and navigated easily. Prepare a comprehensive report detailing the stakeholder landscape, with actionable insights and recommendations for engagement strategies.

Ad Objective 1. Input stakeholder mapping survey, interview and/or focus group discussion agenda and guidelines.
Ad Objective 2. Guidance report/manual for local lead NGO on developing and conducting stakeholder mapping.
Ad objective 3. Notes of stakeholder mapping meetings
Ad Objective 4. Stakeholder map for the humanitarian aid sector in Lebanon. Special attention to the localisation of knowledge among smaller NGOs desired.
Remuneration:
The consultant will be paid upon presentation of invoice and timesheet prepared for the purpose. The consultant will be eligible for payment after undertaking each output outlined above and after fulfilling the deliverables in each output. Term of payment is within two months of receiving the ‘Payment order for work performed’.
Job Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
- Proven experience in stakeholder mapping or related fields, preferably in the humanitarian aid sector (minimum 5 years).
- Strong analytical skills and experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
