As a Data Collector, you will:
• Participate in a training session on data collection methods;
• Outreach for participants to take part in data collection;
• Schedule interview times with study participants;
• Administer surveys (Online/Face to Face/hybrid) to a representative sample of the target population;
• Facilitate and/or note-take for qualitative data such as interviews and focus group discussions (Online/Face to Face/hybrid);
• Transcribe the qualitative data collected when necessary;
• Attend daily debrief meetings with team leader and project manager;
• Commit to daily submission of collected data

Experience

• Experience in quantitative and/or qualitative data collection;
• Proficiency in English and Arabic is required, other languages commonly used by MENA region residents are a plus (i.e French);
• Ability to enter data in English;
• Ability to translate Arabic speech to English text;
• Familiarity with digital data collection software (i.e. Kobo, ODK collect, etc.) is a plus.
• Ability to transcribe data during an interview is extremely favorable.
