Project Coordination and Implementation:
- Oversee the daily activities of the MHPSS Emergency Response team, ensuring the timely and efficient execution of all planned interventions.
- Monitor and track the progress of field activities to ensure alignment with project objectives and timely completion within the established timeline.
- Ensure the effective mobilization of both human and material resources for emergency response efforts. Including overseeing the procurement of critical resources, to facilitate the effective operation of the response team.
- Regularly update service mapping to ensure comprehensive coverage of available services.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including MOSA, UN agencies, NGOs, local authorities, and healthcare providers, to facilitate access to shelters. This coordination aims to prevent duplication of efforts and effectively identify and address any gaps in service delivery.
- Engage with MHPSS Task Force members to provide updates on field activities and raise any operational challenges encountered.
- Ensure proper successful referral for psychiatric hospitalizations including documentation of emergency interventions using designated tracking tools.
Data Management and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, interventions, and outcomes
- Prepare regular progress updates, highlighting key challenges and successes to inform decision-making and partners communications.
- Maintain and update the Health Sector Response Online Sheet to reflect interventions conducted within shelters.
- Ensure daily reporting to Activity Info is completed consistently and compile weekly reports based on daily submissions.
Capacity Building and Training:
- Collaborate with Program Managers to organize capacity-building workshops for the MHPSS team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services in emergency settings.
Advocacy and Awareness:
- Collaborate with the Program Manager and content creators to develop and refine awareness materials, such as informational flyers, to support advocacy efforts.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Work closely with the MEAL Manager to establish and monitor key performance indicators to assess the impact and effectiveness of MHPSS interventions.
- Continuously review and adapt the emergency response plan to meet the evolving needs of displaced populations.
- Oversee the case management of individual cases referred for specialized MH services.
