Description of the collaboration:
The Program Intern- Voluntary position will work under the direct supervision of the Solid Waste Management (SWM) Program Manager, to provide administrative and programmatic support, ensuring the smooth operation of various project activities. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate documentation, assisting in reporting, and supporting the project team in a variety of organizational tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Support to SWM Management -50%.
- Under the Supervision of the SWM Program Manager:
- Support in the preparation of internal regular reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with the Program team to elaborate, write, and prepare all necessary documents for the presentation to donors and program’s actors.
- Support the organization of meetings and workshop, preparing agendas, and draft Minutes of Meeting (MoM) and distribute finalized minutes to all relevant stakeholders promptly.
- Maintain, update, and archive all SWM project documents, as well as ensuring proper documentation and filing of technical reports and related documents.
- Provide general administrative support to the SWM management team as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Programme Manager.
- Support to Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL)- 25%.
- Aid in data collection, entry, and analysis for monitoring and evaluation activities.
- Assist in conducting surveys or interviews to gather feedback and insights from beneficiaries.
- Help in producing regular reports and presentations on project progress, outcomes, and lessons learned.
- Maintain efficient filing systems and databases to facilitate easy access to project documents and information, according to organizational guidelines and standards
- Participate in organizing regular projects reviews to evaluate progress, identify challenges, and propose solutions in collaboration with the project team.
- Support to Grants and Partnership- 25%:
- Collaborate with project teams to gather relevant data and information for proposal development, including review of secondary data
- Conduct research on best practices, contextual information, and donor requirements to strengthen proposal narratives and ensure alignment with organizational strategies.
- Assist in preparing project proposals by compiling necessary documents.
- Scan or archive necessary documents for project applications and proposals.
Duration and Time Commitment:
- The contract will last for three months, beginning immediately, with the possibility of renewal. This is a voluntary position, and no compensation or reimbursement is provided.
- The role offers flexibility and the time commitment will depend on workload and project requirements. The work arrangement will be hybrid, with approximately 40% of tasks performed remotely and 60% at COOPI's Head Office in Ashrafiyeh, Beirut, subject to adjustment based on operational needs.

Skills and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in a university, with studies nearing completion.Preferred fields of study include Social Science, Environmental Science, Business, Economics, Political Science, or related disciplines.
- Work experience from 0 to 1 year in similar areas.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic language.
- Demonstrated interest in program coordination, project management, or community development
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under deadlines.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
