Emergency Distribution Monitors

IOCC is looking for Emergency Distribution Monitors who will be assuming the following tasks:

  • Coordinate with the school/shelter focal point to confirm the daily order with the exact number of meals needed for distribution, and report issues or discrepancies in numbers to the WFP Field Office (FO) focal point for timely management of leftovers.
  • Liaise with truck drivers and follow routing from the kitchen to shelters to monitor the truck’s conditions and cleanliness (i.e. meals stacking, odour, humidity, cleanliness etc.)
  • Verify the loading and offloading of meals into and from the trucks.
  • Monitor distribution at shelters, when time allows, and gather informal feedback from internally displaced people (IDPs), shelters focal points/committee.
  • Report on a daily basis on the number of meals received and distributed as per the Field Office’s requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring items are correctly monitored and tracked.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with spreadsheets for reporting.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written communication for reporting and coordinating.

 

Working conditions: Field based in Bekaa (Zahle, Saadneyel, Bar elias, Taanayel..), West Bekaa (Rachaya), Baalbeck/hermel (Qaa, bechoeit..), Aarsal
