Detailed Job Description
Lead on the implementation of projects under Food Security, Basic Assistance, Protection and/or Shelter Sectors.
Liaise with partners to determine the project’s objectives and build strategic and operational plans for the project.
Develop an in-depth understanding of project scope and particulars including budgets, bids, contracts, time frames, work plans, financials, and target outcomes.
Track and communicate project risks and opportunities.
Manage the senior field officers and control their project schedule, develop, and supervise their tasks to ensure proper and timely execution of works.
Perform field visits with donors’ representatives and attend performance review meetings with donors and partners.
Assist communication team on preparing success stories, human interests’ stories, presentations to donors.
Provide technical support to the Grants Development Department and MEAL team in the design of projects proposals and MEAL tools when needed.
Prepare reflection sessions and project achievement summaries.
Build the capacity of Senior Officers, Officers, and Volunteers.
Create and review reports as per Donors, Partners and Nusaned policies and requirements.
Organise and attend stakeholder meetings as well as project team meetings.
Perform any additional tasks, when requested by the Head of programs.
Reports to: Head of Programs
Supervisory Responsibility: Directly supervises the senior officers and officers.
Collaborates and Works with: Finance, HR, MEAL and Communication Departments.
Knowledge and Experience
5-7 years of experience in field activities, community engagement and project management with local and/or INGOs.
A BA degree in business management is a must, an MBA degree is a plus.
Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans.
Solid organisational skills, including multitasking and time-management skills.
Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control.
Proven experience in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge in drafting and submitting narrative and financial reports.
Leadership and conflict resolution skills.
Self-motivated and ability to take initiatives.
Focus on reaching results while ensuring an efficient process.
Demonstrate openness to change and ability to manage complexities.
Demonstrate strong English and Arabic oral and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented and high level of constructive attitude and proactivity.
