Media Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Management:

- Develop engaging, informative content for Stouh Beirut’s social media (in coordination with the social media manager) website, and publications.

- Conduct daily updates to the website, ensuring all content is current, accurate, and reflective of our ongoing projects and events.

- Capture stories from the field, including testimonials, photos, and videos, that showcase our projects and impact.

- Compile and design a monthly newspaper highlighting Stouh Beirut’s activities, updates, and achievements to be shared with subscribers and stakeholders in coordination with the projects development manager.

Media & Public Relations:

- Establish and maintain relationships with media contacts, journalists, and influencers.

- Write and distribute press releases, media kits, and promotional materials to support ongoing campaigns.

Digital Marketing & Strategy:

- Implement social media strategies to enhance visibility and engagement on all platforms.

- Monitor media coverage and social media analytics, providing regular reports and insights to improve strategy.

Event Support & Coordination:

- Support events and awareness campaigns by managing media coverage and ensuring cohesive messaging across all media outlets.

- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of media materials for events.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Media, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in media coordination, preferably within the humanitarian or nonprofit sectors.

- Proven experience in social media platforms and digital content creation.

- Strong storytelling skills with a creative approach to content that aligns with humanitarian values.

- Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English; French is a must.

- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
