Enumerator - 10 vacancies

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is a non-governmental, humanitarian organization with 60 years of experience in helping to create a safer and more dignified life for refugees and internally displaced people. NRC advocates for the rights of displaced populations and offers assistance within the shelter, education, emergency food security, legal assistance, and water, sanitation and hygiene sectors.

Activities Overview/Summary:

The main purpose of the Enumerator is to support the emergency team in data collection.

Activities:

• Conduct needed assessment for vulnerable internally displaced families, with a focus on those targeted by the project.
• Communicate project-related information to beneficiaries effectively.
• Explain the project's objectives to interested individuals and families seeking assistance during field visits.
• Report any protection-related concerns through established official channels.
• Assist in collecting required documents from eligible families.

Qualifications and Relevant Skills:

• A degree in social sciences, political science, or a related field.
• Very good communication and negotiation skills
• Familiarity with NGO operations and the dynamics of the humanitarian sector.
• Strong knowledge of NBC geographical area

NB:

• Preference will be given to candidates from Nahr El Bared Camp (NBC).
• Selected enumerators must be available to work on weekends and holidays if required.
• The assignment duration will be approximately 10–15 days
