Location: Primary Healthcare Center – Ain El Remeneh & Achrafieh

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled pediatrician to join our primary healthcare centers in Ain El Remeneh and Achrafieh. The pediatrician will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to infants, children, and adolescents, addressing a wide range of physical, emotional, and developmental health needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for improving child health.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough examinations of infants, children, and adolescents to diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
  2. Develop and implement individualized care plans, including prescribing medications, recommending vaccinations, and providing nutritional and developmental guidance.
  3. Monitor growth and development, addressing any concerns related to physical, behavioral, or emotional health.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including family physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  5. Attend all training and development activities requested by Amel Health Department.
  6. Educate parents and caregivers about their children’s conditions, preventive measures, and health management strategies.
  7. Use Phenics software to accurately document medical records for all patient encounters.
  8. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the primary healthcare centers.
  9. Provide services at Ain El Remeneh PHCC for at least one day per week and at Achrafieh PHCC for at least one day per week.

Qualifications:

  1. Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited medical school.
  2. Specialty degree in Pediatrics from an accredited medical school.
  3. Valid LOP medical license and specialty registration.
  4. Strong clinical skills and the ability to effectively diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric health conditions.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on engaging with children and their families.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  7. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed about best practices in pediatric care.
