Social Worker

JWF is seeking a qualified social worker to manage hotline consultations and referrals, conduct assessments, and deliver psychosocial support activities.

Scope of work and deliverables

• Manage a hotline for receiving consultations and referrals, providing information and support to callers in need of assistance.
• Provide Counseling and Emotional Support for people facing various challenges
• Deliver Psychosocial Support Activities tailored to meet the specific needs of people
• Develop and design engaging PSS activities that promote emotional well-being and resilience among people.
• Conduct field visits to carry out assessments, facilitate activities, and engage with people directly.
• Referral Management: Facilitate referrals to Lawyers and other service providers requiring additional services or resources, ensuring people receive the support they need
• Data Management: Manage, fill, and archive specific forms for case
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of people interactions, assessments, and progress reports.
• Prepare reports and submit them to the manager for review and further action.

Skills and Experience required

• University Degree in Social Work
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position
• Problem-solving skills
• Previous experience in the NGO and humanitarian field is a necessity.
• Good communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to deliver information to different age groups.
• Planning and organizing skills
• Excellent reporting skills
