The Georges N. Frem Foundation (GNFF) is a Lebanese non-profit organization whose mission is to foster economic development for job creation, positively nurture civic education and a pluralistic, democratic society that leads to dignity, respect, and a better quality of life for the Lebanese people.
GNFF constantly seeks to promote tolerance and respect for diversity. The strengthening of human dignity, civic responsibility, and leadership towards the collective good are the pillars on which the Foundation stands.
Funded and supported by the Agence Française de Développement (AFD), Georges N. Frem Foundation (GNFF) is implementing the Bolstering Agriculture Systems’ Ability to Invest, Nourish, and Employ (BASATINE), a 4-year program, with a Consortium of six local and International NGOs with vast experience in agriculture and market systems development.
BASATINE aims to support farmers and other value chains and associated sector actors in areas of Beqaa and Akkar focused on the production of cereals, legumes, and vegetables, seeking a territorial approach, and promoting linkages with other value chains.
GNFF and as part of BASATINE’s activity “Establish on-farm local seed production units” need to purchase the following:
- Item needed: Seeds for vegetables, cereals and legumes as per the table below.
- Suppliers must sign the integrity statement (Attached)
- Suppliers must sign the environmental statement (Attached)
- Suppliers are requested to complete the attached Annex 1 sheet with their prices (quotation) and include it in the sealed envelope.
- Suppliers must submit the quotation with the signed integrity, and environmental statements, all in one sealed envelope.
