Developmental Action without Borders - Naba’a, is a Lebanese NGO operational since 2001. Registered under the Ministry of Interior (no. 104/AD), Naba’a is dedicated to serving all marginalized communities in Lebanon, especially children, without distinction of nationality, color, race, or religion. This includes communities within Lebanese camps and gatherings, as well as local Lebanese communities.
Remarks:
Developmental Action without Borders, Naba’a, does not employ individuals who are married to children (persons under 18). Naba’a enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding sexual exploitation and abuse, sexual harassment, abuse of authority, and discrimination. All prospective candidates must undergo thorough reference and background checks which will mainly verify employment history, professional performance, and adherence to the aforementioned policies. Furthermore, the selected candidates must provide a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Screening or an equivalent criminal record check as a condition of employment.

I. Responsibilities of Community Health Advisor
1. Community Engagement:
Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, healthcare providers, and local stakeholders to facilitate project’s success.
Oversee the material as well as the implementation of awareness sessions and campaigns to educate the community about the importance of child vaccination.
Train community mobilizers, field officers and field coordinator to address and resolve any concerns about vaccinations and the materials
2. Collaboration:
Collaborate with other NGOs, health agencies, and community groups to enhance the reach and impact of the health awareness project.
Participate in meetings, conferences, and seminars related to public health and vaccination.
3. Strategy and Planning:
Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement effective community engagement strategies to promote vaccination.
Assist in the planning and execution of awareness campaigns tailored to the needs of various communities.
4. Monitoring and Reporting:
Monitor the progress of the health awareness activities and provide regular updates to the project manager and relevant stakeholders.
Prepare reports and documentation of activities, challenges, and outcomes.
5.Compliance:
Demonstrate full commitment to Nabaa’s code of conduct and protection policies, including PSEAH, and safeguarding measures.
II. Qualifications of Community Health Advisor:
Master’s degree in Public health (mandatory)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in community health, public health campaigns, or related activities.
III. Soft Skills of Community Health Advisor:
Strong understanding of health promotion and community engagement strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse groups and stakeholders in both English and Arabic language
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
IV. Technical Skills of Community Health Advisor:
Computer literacy in outlook, MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Internet
Effective report writing
Timely and accurate data entry
Understanding of the concept of health and social project
Understanding of advocacy concept
