Digital Media and communication officer

  1. Main Responsibilities:

Communication:

  • Daily media monitoring  
  • Create articles and stories about Gender Based Violence cases for publication.
  • Build and nurture long-term relations with local media networks.  
  • Photoshoot and video shoot when needed in events, centers, project and activities and archives in then database.
  • Undertake field visits to centers and programs and take photos by creating a message/video, reporting and highlighting success stories.
  • Produce (write-design) for press releases, short videos, flyers, brochures for circulation on visual and multimedia sites.
  • Work with team members to generate data about various programs/projects for documentation and public dissemination.
  • Maintain documentation management system (hard copy and soft copy). 
  • Assist in developing and implementing the Media & Communication Strategy .

 

Digital Media:

  • Develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with the NO2TA’s goals and brand identity.
  • Manage and curating content for various Digital media platforms, engaging with the audience, and monitoring performance metrics.
  • Analyz digital media performance and audience sentiment and prepare reports to inform strategy adjustments.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor digital media campaigns, including email marketing, digital media advertising, and content marketing.

 

2. Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media, business, or a related field.
  • Master's Degree (optional) in digital marketing, business administration, or a related field can be an added advantage.
  • 3 years of experience in communications digital marketing or social media management.
  • Ability to analyze data, interpret metrics, and generate actionable insights.
  • Creative Skills: Strong content creation and graphic design skills; familiarity with tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Up to date with the latest trends and technologies in  communication ,digital marketing and social media.
