- The CDC supervisor is responsible for the organization and scheduling of structured activities for vulnerable children, youth, women at risk and men run in Baalbeck CDC Barelias and Ghazze or outreach, in collaboration with the Community based Promoters.
- Ensure a safe and child-friendly atmosphere within the center;
- Act according to the CPiE Minimum standards.
- Support in assessing the needs of the targeted beneficiaries and ensure engagement of the beneficiaries in the design of and support to the implementation activities;
- Ensure that community-based promoters are planning, designing, and constructing the activities for all beneficiaries (in collaboration with line manager and accordingly to XX guidelines)
- Works directly with all beneficiaries in the CDC Centers involving parents and community members when appropriate; including community groups
- Refer to the case workers any vulnerable cases of CP, SGBV and PwSN identified or referred by a team member.
- Inform the coordinator/manager about any difficulty met in CBP activities implementation.
- Be available to participate in meetings and trainings in and outside the centers and/or in Beirut office when requested;
- Accomplish any other assignments given by the coordinator or manager.
- Act according to the guiding principles of GBV and Child Protection case management including: survivor centered approach, respect of confidentiality, prioritize according to safety concerns, ‘do not harm’, ensure a non-discriminatory approach, act according to the best interest of the beneficiary, ensure accountability, respect professional boundaries and avoid conflict of interest;
- Ensure Access and inclusion of PWSN categories, with specific reference to PWD; including stateless individuals, LGBTI and other marginalized groups
- Act according to the guiding principles of Protection Mainstreaming (Participation, Meaningful Access, DO NOT HARM, ensure safety and dignity)
- Ensure that protection principles are understood, maintained and enforced; Organize outreach activities and/or special events in coordination with the Community Based Promoters both at the CDC and on the field.
- Monitor the daily activities within the center or outside, conducted by the Community Based Promoters ensuring relevance to the context and creativity.
- Identify any need of training or gaps within the team and refer it to the supervisor; provide capacity building to community-based promoters
- Assist solving problems arising in the Child Friendly Spaces if asked by supervisor
- Produce and maintain in an accurate way a daily attendance registers for staff and beneficiaries, monthly inventory sheets and send the inventory sheets for each activity and PSS database;
- Ensure the verification that the supplied Centre material is daily accounted for and secured; tracking of inventory and other asset related tasks, Maintain the safety and good care of XX assets;
- Recruit, train/coach and monitor the community-based promoters in the assigned area;
- Ensure that the centers are running smoothly in terms of logistics and admin by submitting relevant PRs, effective reporting/requesting of needs, and application of all procedures.
- Coordinating with external actors in regards to daily tasks, events, and activities.
- Ensure the engagement of the community groups (in coordination with the CBPs) in the activities through all the phases (planning, designing, implementation, and evaluation), and include them in management committee meetings.
- Plan and supervise the implementation of trainings for Community Groups; hold periodic meetings in order to engage Community Groups in coordination with MSAs, CBPs, and other local actors. Keeping in mind trends in order to address through activities.
- Implement surveys and feedback mechanisms in order to gather information and trends for the planning of activities. Ensure community-based promoters are assisting beneficiaries attending activities in filling the Satisfaction Survey.
- Managing material at the info desk in regards to CDC attendance, service mapping, referring, reporting, and counselling of beneficiaries. Participate in the info desk and ensure the presence of a staff member at the info desk.
- Ensuring the coordination/ participation of Baalbeck CDC (Ghazze and Barelias) components daily and also in CDC events (international days, etc.)
- Supporting in mobilization of activities in link with other components – mobile units.
- Supporting in Community Outreach activities.
- Provide basic information about project activities and report on a weekly and monthly basis to the Data Entry/Team leader, coordinator and Project Manager
- Work with protection manager to ensure reaching targets and allocated expenditures according to the annual and monthly plans
- Supervise the implementation of activities and performances of the CBPs and ensure reporting training needs and challenges.
Reporting:
- Provide daily basic information about project activities and report on a weekly basis to the CDC coordinator/manager
- Support in reporting on KOBO on daily basis and when needed
- Monitor the data entry done by the SW and the CBPs on a weekly basis
- Any other task assigned requested by the CBP coordinator/or manager.
