Youth Officer - Bekaa Area

The Youth officer will be a member of the Food Security and livelihood team. 

  Monitor Early Childhood Development (ECD) Sessions:

• Ensure the quality and consistency of ECD sessions, adhering to Makani’s standards.
• Report on the progress of ECD activities, including children’s developmental milestones and session outcomes.
• Follow the appropriate referral process for children identified as needing specialized support.

 Monitor Youth Activities and Sessions:

• Oversee the delivery of youth activities, including basic life skills, adolescent kit sessions, and sports for development programs.
• Evaluate engagement levels and ensure activities align with project objectives.
• Document and report progress, challenges, and outcomes for each activity.

 Monitor Youth Functional Skills Sessions:

• Supervise the implementation of functional skills sessions such as English language, IT, and digital literacy training.
• Ensure content delivery meets the needs of beneficiaries and is aligned with Makani’s guidelines.

 Reporting and Data Management:

• Produce timely and accurate reports
• Collaborate with the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (M.E.L) department to validate data and ensure alignment with project indicators.
• Document lessons learned, success stories, and best practices to improve program effectiveness.

  Collaboration and Referral Process:

• Work closely with child protection, education, and health teams to ensure a comprehensive referral process for beneficiaries requiring specialized services.
• Foster partnerships with local stakeholders to enhance program reach and impact.

  Monitoring and Evaluation:

• Conduct regular monitoring visits to assess the quality of sessions and provide feedback to facilitators.
• Utilize monitoring tools and indicators to track progress and ensure alignment with project objectives.
