Content Creator

Position Summary

The Content Creator will be responsible for producing engaging and high-quality content for social media platforms to promote activities and initiatives related to the project. This includes designing posts, taking photos during activities, and ensuring consistent branding and messaging. The role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

  • Develop and design creative content for social media platforms, including posts, stories, and videos, to highlight project activities and achievements.
  • Capture high-quality photos and videos during project events and activities to use in promotional content.
  • Write engaging captions and descriptions tailored to target audiences and platform-specific requirements.

Social Media Management

  • Schedule and publish content across relevant social media platforms in line with the project’s communication plan.
  • Monitor engagement metrics and suggest strategies to improve audience reach and interaction.

Brand Consistency

  • Ensure all content aligns with the project’s branding guidelines and messaging.
  • Collaborate with the project team to understand key messages and priorities for each activity.

Photography and Documentation

  • Attend project activities and events to document them through photos and videos.
  • Organize and maintain a digital library of visual assets for future use.

Reporting and Coordination

  • Report on content performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure timely content delivery and alignment with project objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

  • Proven experience in content creation, photography, and social media management.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar software.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
  • Excellent photography and basic video editing skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in [Specify Required Languages].

Desirable:

  • Experience working on development or humanitarian projects.
  • Knowledge of content strategies for non-profit or community-based organizations.
  • Familiarity with digital storytelling and audience engagement techniques.
