Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Expert - Women

Responsibilities:

Capacity-building: Raising women beneficiaries' awareness of and responses to forms of gender-based violence.
Reporting and documentation: reporting and documentation on gender-based violence activities, results and lessons learned.
Data Collection and Analysis the pre-post test related to the training
Guidance on available systems for coordination with other organizations, government agencies and stakeholders to facilitate referrals and exchange of best practices.

Skills:

Knowledge of gender-based violence issues: a deep understanding of gender-based violence and its causes and impact on individuals and communities.
Analytical skills: ability to analyse data and develop evidence-based interventions.
Communication skills: Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate information and advocate for gender-based violence issues.
Compassion and sensitivity: the ability to provide compassionate support to survivors and deal with sensitive situations carefully.
Cultural competence: awareness and respect for cultural differences and the ability to operate effectively in diverse environments.
Problem-solving skills: ability to identify and address challenges in efforts to prevent and respond to gender-based violence.
Technical efficiency: familiarity with tools, methodologies and software related to gender-based violence.
