Permaculture Expert - Foyer de l'amitié

1. Scope of work

The permaculture expert will establish a permaculture pilot site in “Le Foyer de l’amitié” agricultural land. The plot will persist in its role as a demonstration area for agriculture students, farmers, and trainees participating in the project.

2. Outcomes

• Implementation of Permaculture and Sustainable agriculture practices
• Establishment of a demo plot for permaculture practices

3. Deliverables

• To produce the assessment report for the land
• To list the inputs and equipment needed for the site implementation
• To create a work plan in coordination with FTL

4. Qualifications

• University degree in agriculture or related fields
• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Proven knowledge of Fair-Trade principles
• Proven presentation skills
• Drives results

• Organized and able to create multiple timelines and schedules
• Good knowledge of Arabic and English

The consultant should submit a portfolio of previous projects, in addition to a short concept note related to the abovementioned intervention with a budget. The detailed workplan will be developed and agreed upon in coordination with FTL team.

6. Payment Terms

• Payments will be made through bank cheques
• Payment will be made within 15 to 20 business days after last delivery and submission of final invoice
