Protection Project Officer - South Lebanon (Zahrani-Saida-Nabatiye)

Design and monitor protection activities.

Establish a positive and mutually supportive professional working relationship with partners

Ensure the activities are implemented on time and within the defined budget.

Ensure the implementation of the internal and national SOPs and guidelines

Provide guidance and technical capacity through training staff to ensure that they implement best-practices and international standards

Monitor project’s implementation and gather data on protection-related concerns

Propose improvements of the Protection Tools if needed

Respond directly to protection needs and provide immediate support when needed.

Conduct regular field monitoring and collaboration with staff

Develop an up-to-date referral system to receive and respond to cases in field locations

Reporting

Maintain accurate project records and ensure proper documentation and archiving of all Means of Verifications

Conduct data entry and provide reports on a daily basis about implemented activities.

Provide comprehensive reports throughout the year including quantitative data and full descriptive narrative.

Logistics & other operational departments:

Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of supplies.

Manage and keep track of goods under project and liaise with warehouse focal point on goods delivery and or out of stock requests

Prepare weekly movement plan of team under supervision

Develop external relationships with municipalities, beneficiaries, ministries, consortium members, relevant sector groups and other relevant stakeholders.

Close collaboration with local authorities across the whole project phase for information, approval & follow up purposes

Support MEL team in creating needs assessment forms and surveys.

Maintain a close communication with MEL department to follow-up on progress and create/adjust monitoring and evaluation tools.
