- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
System Design:
- Develop a detailed solar power system design that meets the station’s projected energy requirements.
- Incorporate solar panels, battery storage, inverters, and a backup generator into the system design.
- Ensure the design prioritises reliability, efficiency, and suitability for remote operation.
- Design a system that adheres to international standards and regulatory requirements.
Technical Specifications and Bill of Quantities (BOQ):
- Prepare detailed technical specifications for all components of the solar power system, including solar panels, batteries, inverters, backup generator, mounting structures, and cabling.
- Produce a BOQ with all necessary materials, including quantities, technical specifications, and estimated costs, to support supplier quotation processes.
- Establish criteria for the evaluation of potential supplier proposals.
Documentation:
- Provide a report detailing the design methodology, technical calculations, assumptions, and recommended components.
- Create detailed system diagrams, schematics, and layouts.
Deliverables:
- Deliver a comprehensive technical design for the solar power system, including backup generator integration.
- Submit a detailed BOQ for all system components.
- Compile a final report including system schematics, design methodology, and recommendations.
