- Plan and facilitate legal awareness sessions for NABAD’s beneficiaries on topics such as civil documentation, residency, and asylum procedures.
- Provide legal counseling to beneficiaries, informing them of their rights and available legal services.
- Collaborate with the protection team to assess the legal and protection needs of beneficiaries.
- Inform beneficiaries and asylum seekers about NABAD’s activities and other available assistance from organizations or government authorities.
- Identify individuals in need of legal consultation or representation and refer them to appropriate services.
- Maintain a database of legal cases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is recorded.
- Monitor the progress of referred cases and provide follow-up support as needed.
- Promote the rights of beneficiaries, asylum seekers, and other persons of concern, ensuring the application of international human rights standards.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to the Protection Officer on legal activities, including the number of beneficiaries reached and services provided.
- Contribute to legal analysis and the development of informational materials on legal topics.
- Ensure proper documentation of all legal activities, including case files, referral forms, and awareness session records.
- Maintain confidentiality and secure storage of sensitive legal information.
