Social Worker

Key Of Life is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Social Worker for a  full time position to support the project activities with identification of target population and provide PSS and information dissemination sessions to survivors or at risk of GBV and Children, in addition to ensure the implementation of case management for GBV survivors, for the Key of Life project in Akkar.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the effective GBV intervention and prevention activities implementation

key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a variety of structured activities (emotional support group sessions, distressing activities, info sessions and life skill) in outreach, catering to the needs of women and girls of different ages accordingly to weekly schedule;
• Conduct peer-led focus groups discussions, life skill training, emotional support group sessions with women and girls accordingly to the weekly schedule;
• Facilitate the participation of all the segments particularly woman and girls of the targeted population to the planned activities, notably the most vulnerable ones (refugees, local community, adolescent, women, elderly, minority members, people with disabilities etc.), ensuring that proper attention is paid to specific emotional and physical needs;
• Where possible and in line with the confidentiality principles, engage volunteers from (Community Based Organizations (CBOs) in the planned activities
• Detect, counsel and follow up individual cases identified during psychosocial activities by the team or referred by other agencies; or through community services
• Conduct psychosocial assessment of vulnerable cases, including environmental, emotional, behavioral, and social factors as well as resources and strengths that impact the individual well- being;
• Ensure coordination and synergy with the main service providers in the area of intervention for prompt referral, follow up and information sharing;
• Perform other duties are required.
