Digital Media Specialist

Established in 2023, the SSE Task Force was created to advance social entrepreneurship in Lebanon amid ongoing social, economic, and environmental challenges. This collaborative initiative unites key stakeholders to address the challenges faced by social enterprises and strengthen the SSE ecosystem. The task force was initially supported by the SEE CHANGE project, previously funded by the European Union and implemented by a consortium including Oxfam, COSV, and Beyond Group.

The Lebanese Social Enterprises Association (LSE) is committed to supporting social enterprises and promoting the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) in Lebanon. LSE aims to provide the necessary support to ensure the continuity and effectiveness of the SSE Task Force. This includes enhancing the visibility of the SSE Task Force, building collaboration among stakeholders, and advocating for supportive policies and legal frameworks. The Task Force operates through four committees—Program, Legal, Fundraising, and Communication—each dedicated to specific objectives and co-leads key deliverable, all contributing to the strengthening of the SSE ecosystem in Lebanon.

 

About The Role

The digital media specialist is responsible for developing and executing creative digital strategies to increase the visibility of the Task Force. They will manage content creation, social media engagement, and digital campaigns to highlight the Task Force’s work, initiatives, and impact. 

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a digital content strategy to enhance the Task Force’s online presence.
  • Create and manage content across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Design visuals, infographics, and multimedia content to support awareness campaigns.
  • Create a strong visual identity that reflects the mission and objectives of the SSE task force.
  • Oversee website content updates and ensure brand consistency.
  • Maintain consistent branding across all TF communications channels
  • Work closely with the SSE Task Force coordinators to ensure the content aligns with the task force’s goals.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics to optimize engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to promote Task Force initiatives.
  • Monitor comments, messages, and interactions on social media platforms.
  • Social media management for the SSE TF social media platforms and publish content.
  • Continuously research and self-educate about trends in social entrepreneurship.
  • Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven experience in digital marketing, content creation, or social media management.
  • Strong graphic design skills.
  • Experience working with NGOs or social impact organizations.
  • Experience with social media analytics and content optimization.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
  • Basic knowledge of social enterprises is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
