Writer - Visual Arts - English

For Gallery Magazine: Full-time writer and reporter in English about modern and contemporary visual art in Lebanon. Attend exhibitions at art galleries and venues, interview artists and art experts, and write about established and emerging artists. Previous published writing experience required. The position requires in office + onsite presence, motorized, with a university degree from an English speaking university (AUB, LAU, etc.) in Art History or equivalent, and preferably well-networked in the local art scene. The position requires a mature, self-dependent, experienced person, with accumulated experiences, to be able to write about visual arts in Lebanon and related to the magazine's various audiences. In addition to writing exhibition reviews and analytical articles, which will go into the print magazine, the role involves keeping the magazine's website and social media platforms up-to-date.
