Terms of Reference (TOR) for Time Management Trainer

1. Background and Purpose

The purpose of this assignment is to engage a professional trainer to design and deliver a comprehensive Time Management training program. The goal is to improve participants' skills in managing time effectively, prioritizing tasks, and boosting productivity, both personally and professionally.

2. Objective

The trainer will deliver a structured time management training program that enables participants to effectively manage their time, increase efficiency, and develop skills to balance workload and responsibilities.

3. Scope of Work

The trainer will be responsible for the following:

  • Training Design: Customize the Time Management training program, including the curriculum, training materials, and exercises tailored to the needs of the target audience.
  • Training Delivery: Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions, ensuring active participation and learning.
  • Evaluation and Feedback: Evaluate participants’ understanding and application of time management concepts and techniques, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Reporting: Provide a final report on the outcomes of the training, including participant feedback, success stories, and recommendations for further development.

4. Key Responsibilities

The trainer will be expected to:

  • Pre-training Preparation:
    • Conduct a needs assessment to tailor the training to the specific requirements of the audience.
    • Develop the training program outline and detailed agenda.
    • Create training materials (PowerPoint presentations, handouts, worksheets, etc.).
  • Training Delivery:
    • Deliver the Time Management training in an engaging and interactive manner.
    • Use a combination of teaching methods such as presentations, group discussions, exercises, case studies, and time management tools (e.g., prioritization matrices, time blocking).
    • Ensure that the training is practical, and relevant to participants’ daily routines and challenges.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Submit a final report summarizing training outcomes, feedback, and recommendations for further improvement of time management strategies for participants.

5. Skills and Qualifications

The ideal trainer should have:

  • Extensive experience in time management training, with a proven track record of successfully delivering time management workshops.
  • In-depth knowledge of time management tools and techniques such as the Eisenhower Matrix, Pomodoro Technique, time blocking, and task prioritization.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
  • The ability to tailor content to various audience levels and needs.
  • Relevant certifications in time management, productivity, or coaching (e.g., PMP, Certified Time Management Coach).
  • Experience in corporate or professional development training (preferred).

6. Deliverables

  • Training Program Outline and Detailed Agenda.
  • Customized Time Management Training Materials (Slides, Worksheets, Handouts, etc.).
  • Pre- and Post-Training Evaluation Forms.
  • Final Report on Training Outcomes, including recommendations for continuous improvement.

7. Timeline

The trainer will be required to:

  • Submit finalized training materials [insert number of days/weeks] before the scheduled training date.
  • Deliver the training within the agreed-upon timeline.
  • Submit a final report detailing the outcomes and feedback within [insert number of days] after the training session.

  • Training Duration:1 Day
  • Training Dates: 7 April

9. Payment and Terms

  • Payment will be made based on milestones (e.g., after training delivery, after report submission).

 

10. Confidentiality and Code of Conduct

  • The trainer agrees to maintain confidentiality regarding any proprietary or sensitive information disclosed during the training.
  • The trainer must adhere to the professional standards of conduct, ensuring the training is inclusive, respectful, and delivers valuable knowledge to all participants.

- A technical proposal with:

- - Detailed description of the methodology to be implemented

- A financial offer including a budget with detailed sections of all expenses,

- An updated CV of the applicant coupled with the CVs of the other team members. Firms are expected to send their profiles with the CVs of the team members

- 3 most recent professional references close to the current consultancy

- A document presenting the legality of the consultant status

- An example of similar studies conducted in the past for other I/NGOs in a similar context

- References and the completion letters from the other organizations

Secours Islamique France (SIF) will consider both individual and team/Firm applications. TheTrainer(s) will be selected based on their relevant experience and expertise, rigor of their design, availability, and value for money
