Outreach Volunteer - Aley Community Center

We are looking for an Outreach Volunteer to connect our organization with the community, identify needs, and facilitate access to our services, directly contributing to the well-being and empowerment of individuals in the Aley area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field visits to identify cases and refer them to the appropriate focal points, such as protection services.
  • Fill out all necessary registration forms.
  • Provide information about Tabitha's services and refer community members to relevant programs as needed.
  • Detect and prepare groups for training sessions to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the community's culture and respond to its unique challenges.
  • Connect with local stakeholders and focal points to strengthen our network and impact.
  • Assist Tabitha staff, ensuring smooth operations and effective service delivery.

Background/Skills:

  • Preferable previous experience in community outreach.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage effectively with the community and other volunteers.
  • Cultural sensitivity and respect for diverse backgrounds and beliefs.
  • Residence in the Aley area or neighborhood.
  • Fluency in Arabic and/or English.
  • Dedication and flexibility with time.
