Senior GBV Caseworker

Terre des hommes - Lausanne is seeking a qualified Senior GBV Case Worker based in Tyre or surroundings for one of its projects in the South.

 

Job Purpose/ Main Functions:

The Senior GBV Caseworker is responsible for overseeing GBV case management within their assigned area, serving as the Tdh representative. They are tasked with implementing the strategy and coordinating the development and management of the GBV caseworker team. The Senior GBV Caseworker ensures that GBV case management practices adhere to Tdh’s mandate, commitments, and international standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 Oversee provision of  individual case management for GBV survivors, ensuring adherence to all case management steps, tools, and procedures.

 Ensure continuous support for survivors, their families, and caregivers, promoting their active involvement in the case management process.

 Foster effective communication and collaboration with GBV caseworkers and service providers involved in GBV case management.

The Senior GBV Caseworker maintains strong ethical standards and professionalism in their work, striving to create an environment where survivors and their families are empowered to engage in their own healing and development. The approach aims to strengthen social ties, promote community solidarity, and enhance resilience within the families and communities they serve.
