- Oversee the implementation of child protection (CP) activities, ensuring alignment with national case management guidelines, SOPs, and global protection standards.
- Provide direct supervision, coaching, and technical support to FPSS Facilitators and Community Care Workers (CCWs) to ensure effective psychosocial support delivery.
- Ensure CP interventions, including PSS and FPSS sessions, adhere to Makani’s Structured Child-Centered intervention guidelines.
- Conduct regular field visits to assess program quality, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to best practices in child protection.
- Oversee case referrals and follow-up, ensuring that high-risk children and caregivers receive appropriate specialized services.
- Ensure the correct identification, assessment, and referral of vulnerable children and caregivers for case management services.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and ethical standards in handling case management data.
- Maintain accurate and secure documentation of CP activities, including attendance sheets, consent forms, referrals, and case records.
- Support data collection, analysis, and reporting in coordination with the MEAL team to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure timely submission of high-quality reports (weekly, monthly) on CP activities, case management, and key findings.
- Monitor and evaluate program impact, identifying trends and recommending adjustments to improve effectiveness.
- Conduct regular team meetings with FPSS Facilitators and CCWs to plan activities, share updates, and address challenges.
- Provide training and capacity-building sessions on child protection, case management, and PSS methodologies to strengthen staff skills.
- Offer guidance on implementing structured FPSS curricula and ensure safe, supportive environments for children and caregivers.
- Liaise with internal teams (logistics, finance, MEAL) and external partners to facilitate smooth program implementation.
- Represent the organization in local-level child protection coordination meetings, ensuring integration with inter-agency response efforts.
- Work closely with local implementing partners, community stakeholders, and relevant authorities to enhance child protection services.
- Adhere to the work schedule as set by management, ensuring consistent and reliable contribution to the project while being flexible to meet evolving needs.
- Collaborate with team members across departments, taking on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the smooth operation of community centers and achieve the project’s goals.
