GBV risk mitigation -4 months

 

Scope of work        1-    Review of existing materials related to GBV risk mitigation and meeting with UNICEF’s WASH / GBV and gender FPs and with WASH sector coordination and induction meeting with the senior management/management assistant / decision makers / quality assurance in the selected NGOs to explain about the process of GBV risk mitigation (The suggested partners up to 10 partners). Induction with frontline workers (field officers and project manager) to identify the training needs. 5 working days – 15th of April 2025
2-    Adapt existing guidance on the consultation with women and girls about installation of the WASH facilities prepared earlier. One working day -21st of April 2025.
3-    Adapt the guidance on how to conduct GBV risk analysis – one day- 22nd of April
4-    Develop guidance on how to anchor GBV in program planning/ indicator – checklist for GBV risk mitigation in proposals, guidance, strategy and indictors. Three days- end of April 2025.
5-    Develop guidance on gender responsive WASH committee and a checklist. And to train on it- Three days- 10th of May 2025.
6-    Develop guidance for employers and co-workers on non-gender stereotyped attitudes / beliefs on women’s employability. Two days-15th of May 2025.
7-    Conduct three rounds of training for 35 staff from 10 NGOs on GBV risk mitigation . This includes simplified referral pathway. This includes the preparation of training material and facilitation of three rounds of trainings.PS: this includes the training the pen holder of proposals on GBV risk mitigation in proposals. – 13 days – 15th of June 2025
8-    Shadow session with IPs and quality assurance – 12 days – Second week of July 2025
9-    Draft a final report about the process, the lessons learned and the way forward – Three days- End of of July 2025.

Experience and Skills:
Previous work experience in drafting guidance documents on GBV risk mitigation /Gender related issues and in preparing training manuals
Strong background in capacity building in GBV and Gender related issues.
Good knowledge in humanitarian contexts and familiarity with GBV related resources and material.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish effective working relations with other stakeholders.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and in Arabic
