Terre des hommes - Lausanne is seeking a qualified A2J FPSS Facilitator - Part Time based between Beirut and Tyre.

 

Job Purpose / Main Functions:

The focused Psychosocial Support activities Facilitator has the knowledge and practical skills to carry out focused psychosocial support activities with children in contact with lawat high risk of vulnerability.

Focused PSS activities will be carried out in line with individual organization and interagency guidelines.This position intends to build the resilience of the most vulnerable children in contact with law and youth through psychosocial support activities. The FPSS facilitator implements the activities in a manner that leaves a considerable positive impact on children and youth and promotes their well-being.

 

Aims of the position are to:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate psychosocial activities for children in contact with lawand youth.

• Strengthening and improving the resilience and well-being of children in contact with lawat risk.

• Ensure that all beneficiaries participate in activities that are non-discriminatory as well as age and gender sensitive and appropriate.

• Ensure that parents and caregivers receive frequent feedback about their child’s participation during the sessions.

• Work directly with CP team members to develop interventions, plans, and follow-up.

• Monitor and supervise the volunteer team to plan, implement, and organize the sessions.

• Ensure that the street-connected children/youth feel safe, comfortable, and respected all the time,
