Jafra Field Officer

Jafra Foundation for Relief and Youth Development actively works to empower communities and create hope. We provide relief and empowerment to some of the most vulnerable populations in the Levant. Working across 10 programming sectors, we ensure we meet the basic needs of groups and rebuild livelihoods for the future. Jafra is currently seeking to assing a Field Officer based in Shatila camp.

Field Officer Job Description:

• Handle the daily follow up of project activities on the field, track the progress of the activities and provide timely feedback

• Carry out technical inspections in the project location in close coordination with the Area Coordinator

• Carry out regular field inspections in the project target locations

• Timely identify project technical and programmatic needs and challenges and propose solutions

• Document and report any bottlenecks or challenges faced during the project, including lessons learned

• Help in the outreach of beneficiaries

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Completion of secondary education (Grade 12)

Basic command of spoken and written English & Arabic

Good Microsoft Office Skills

Ability to work and communicate well with a variety of individuals, with professionalism and goodwill
