Objective:
The purpose of this TOR is to define the tasks and expectations for the development of a Fundraising Strategy that will outline clear goals, tactics, and actions to enhance financial sustainability through diversified funding sources.
Scope of Work:
DAA will hire an expert to develop the fund-raising strategy through the following methodology:
- Conduct an assessment of current fundraising practices and income generation activities.
- issue the first draft of the strategy
- validate the initial draft of the strategy with the relevant stakeholders from the organization
- Research and identify alternative sources of funding, including grants, individual donations, corporate sponsorships, and fundraising events.
- Develop a clear fundraising strategy that aligns with the organization’s mission and objectives, and includes specific, measurable fundraising goals.
- issue the final draft of the fund-raising strategy.
- Create an action plan for each fundraising avenue, with detailed steps for execution, timelines, and roles and responsibilities.
Note: Quotation is mandatory
- Develop a donor engagement and retention strategy to ensure long-term partnerships and support.
- Provide recommendations for diversifying funding sources and reducing reliance on any one source.
Key Deliverables:
- A comprehensive fundraising strategy document outlining goals, methods, and key actions.
- An implementation plan with a clear timeline and roles/responsibilities for the team.
- A donor engagement strategy, including messaging and outreach plans.
- A final report with recommendations for diversifying revenue streams.
Reporting and Supervision:
The consultant/working group will report to the General Director and provide regular updates on progress. The final strategy document will be submitted for approval.
