Cereal and Pulses Production Staff

LOST is seeking to recruit a Cereal and Pulses Production Staff .

Position Summary:

The Cereal and Pulses Production Staff support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of cereal production activities. They work  with farmers, cooperatives, and project teams to improve agricultural practices, enhance productivity, and ensure sustainable production. The role involves both technical and field-based responsibilities, including training, data collection, and collaboration with agronomists and extension workers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Field Support & Implementation
    • Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability before delivery.
    • Identifies and analyzes issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues.
  • Reporting & Documentation
    • Prepare weekly and monthly field activity reports.
    • Report to Plant manager
  • Liaison & Coordination
    • Communicates quality standards and parameters to QA team, product development team, and other appropriate staff.
    • Review client, customer, and user feedback
    • Maintains compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Agriculture, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in field .

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Practical knowledge of cereal and pulse farming techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with climate-smart agriculture and integrated pest management.
  • Ability to work in rural field settings and travel frequently.
  • Good record-keeping and basic computer literacy (Word, Excel).
