Main Tasks:

  • Engage with government agencies, financial institutions, and business development organizations
  • Conduct market research to understand MSME trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Develop selection criteria for MSMEs and SEED funding beneficiaries based on project goals and sustainability potential.
  • Evaluate MSME and SEED funding candidates’ applications and conduct interviews to assess business feasibility.
  • Shortlist MSMEs and SEED funding candidates for support based on financial viability, market potential, and legal status.
  • Assess MSME and SEED funding beneficiaries’ needs through field visits, surveys, and interviews.
  • Develop materials for awareness sessions on business registration and compliance.
  • Coordinate with field teams and community leaders to ensure outreach effectiveness.

Implementation:

  • Conduct in-depth business assessments for selected MSMEs and SEED funding beneficiaries.
  • Provide tailored recommendations and action plans for business growth.
  • Identify necessary technical and financial support mechanisms.
  • Organize awareness sessions on legal registration and formalization benefits.
  • Conduct regular field visits to track MSMEs and SEED funding progress.
  • Offer on-site business advisory services to MSMEs and SEED funding beneficiaries

Documentation:

  • Maintain a database of supported MSMEs and SEED funding beneficiaries, including business profiles and development plans.
  • Document training sessions, awareness campaigns, and MSME/ SEED funding Beneficiaries interactions.
  • Record details of MSMEs that formalize their businesses post-support.
  • Maintain records of financial and technical assistance provided.
  • Document success stories and lessons learned from MSME interventions.
  • Develop best practice guidelines for MSME and SEED funding beneficiaries business growth.
  • Provide data-driven insights on business growth and sustainability.

Coordination:

  • Collaborate with the Project Coordinator to align MSME/ SEED funding support activities with project objectives.
  • Work closely with field teams to ensure effective MSMEs/ SEED funding identification, assessment, and support delivery.
  • Coordinate with the monitoring and evaluation (M&E) team to track progress and impact.

Reporting:

Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on MSME/ SEED funding selection, support activities, and impact.

​​​​Qualification:

Education:

University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, MSME support programs, or market analysis.
  • Experience in financial and technical advisory for small businesses.
