LOST is seeking to recruit a Driver .
Position Summary:
The Driver is responsible for safely transporting staff, goods, and materials as required by the organization. The role includes maintaining the assigned vehicle in good working condition, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and organizational transport policies, and supporting logistics functions when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Transportation Services
- Safely drive staff and visitors to destinations as assigned.
- Deliver and collect official documents, materials, or goods.
- Maintain awareness of road and weather conditions to ensure safe travel.
- Vehicle Maintenance & Management
- Perform daily vehicle checks (fuel, oil, brakes, tires, lights).
- Keep vehicles clean, both inside and out.
- Ensure regular servicing and timely reporting of mechanical issues.
Record Keeping & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and trips.
- Ensure that logbooks are updated and signed after each trip.
- Follow organizational driving policies, safety procedures, and local traffic laws.
Logistics Support
- Assist logistics staff in loading/unloading goods.
- Support administrative and logistical tasks when not driving.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- License: Valid driver’s license appropriate to vehicle type (e.g., light vehicle, 4x4, truck).
- Experience: Minimum 3–4 years of professional driving experience, preferably in corporate, or government settings.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
