Registered Nurse - Tamlis Primary Healthcare Center

Job Objective: 

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients at a Primary Healthcare Center in Beirut, including assisting in the pharmacy with medication distribution and supporting nursing procedures to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Main tasks:

• Provide patient support, addressing physical, psychological, and safety needs.
• Prepare equipment and assist in diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures.
• Prepare patients physically and emotionally for treatments and diagnostics.
• Carry out medical treatments and follow up on therapy responses as prescribed by physicians.
• Distribute medications to patients accurately, based on physician prescriptions.
• Administer vaccines and prepare vaccination reports as per MoPH guidelines.
• Educate patients and families through health awareness and education sessions.
• Respond promptly to emergency medical cases with proper judgment.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and reports (HIS – Phenics, hard copy).
• Support inventory management by performing weekly stock checks.
• Participate in planning and overseeing team duties to ensure quality of care.
• Train, orient, and assist new staff in developing their nursing skills.
• Conduct home visits to patients when required.
• Perform additional related duties as requested by the Head of the Section.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in the healthcare field (including pharmacy assistance)
• Technical Skills: Intermediate Microsoft Office
