Data Science Trainer

As part of the Tech Pour Tous initiative, MDSF is implementing a specialized Data Science training program. This training is  targeted at young women between the ages of 15 and 35 who have limited exposure to technology. Before starting the Data  Science track, all participants will complete a foundational digital literacy course.

The training aims to provide participants with practical Data Science skills and prepare them for real-world projects and  freelancing opportunities. Upon completion of the 5-month training, learners will transition into a 2-month internship program  where they will apply their newly acquired skills in a professional setting. This structured internship component ensures that  the training is practice-driven and employment-oriented.

● Exploratory data analysis and data visualization with Matplotlib and Seaborn

● Statistical analysis and probability concepts

● Introduction to supervised and unsupervised machine learning using Scikit-learn

● Real-world data project planning, cleaning, modeling, and evaluation

● Incorporate hands-on exercises, case studies, and industry-relevant datasets throughout the program ● Guide participants in developing a capstone project simulating an end-to-end data science workflow ● Integrate collaborative learning activities and peer reviews to enhance project-based experience ● Conduct pre- and post-assessments to benchmark skill acquisition

● Provide individual feedback, track learner progress, and adjust pace/content as needed

● Support internship readiness by reinforcing problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
