Web Consultancy

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Web Consultant to support the development, enhancement, and management of shareQ’s digital presence, with a focus on the ProAbled Academy. The consultant will be responsible for website design and development, content updates, user experience optimization, and ensuring that all web platforms are inclusive, accessible, and aligned with the organization’s branding and mission. 


Responsibilities And Main Duties:

  • Collaborate with designers and project managers to understand the requirements and translate them into functional websites. 
  • Write well-designed, efficient, and maintainable code using best practices. 
  • Develop and maintain web applications with a focus on front-end development. 
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. 
  • Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability. 
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure optimal performance and user experience. 
  • Stay up to date with emerging web development trends and technologies. 
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues. 
  • Assist in the documentation and maintenance of codebase and technical documentation. 
  • Conduct regular website backups and implement recovery measures 
  • Support SEO best practices to improve online visibility

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Communication Engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in web development or web consulting
  • Familiarity with website optimization, accessibility standards, and data protection best practices
  • Previous experience working with NGOs or mission-driven organizations is a plus
  • Proficiency in web development tools (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP)
  • Familiarity with hosting environments, cPanel, backups, and security protocols
  • Comfortable using productivity tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools
  • Knowledge with CMS, LMS platforms (WordPress, Moodle, etc.) is a plus
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and documentation skills
