LOST is seeking a dedicated and dynamic professional to lead and coordinate efforts aimed at improving student retention and enhancing educational program delivery. This role involves working closely with educators, school administrators, students, and community stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that support student engagement, academic success, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of educational curricula and project-based learning initiatives.
- Monitor classroom instruction and provide coaching to educators to improve classroom management and teaching practices.
- Develop and implement early intervention strategies to identify and support students at risk of dropping out or struggling academically or socially.
- Establish and manage outreach programs that foster open communication with students to better understand and respond to their needs.
- Foster strong collaboration with teachers, parents, and community members to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Work in alignment with school leadership to ensure student retention strategies support broader institutional goals.
- Design and oversee programs providing academic support, mentorship, and counseling tailored to student needs.
- Regularly assess the effectiveness of retention and support programs, making data-informed adjustments as necessary.
- Coordinate targeted academic support services such as tutoring and individualized learning plans.
- Partner with educators to develop responsive strategies for specific student learning challenges.
- Promote positive student behavior and healthy social interactions through structured initiatives.
- Monitor and report on student progress and the impact of intervention programs.
- Deliver training and professional development workshops for teachers and staff on effective student engagement and retention practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Pedagogy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the education sector, including direct teaching, teacher training, and instructional coaching.
- Strong facilitation and capacity-building skills.
- Full professional fluency in both Arabic and English, written and spoken.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative.
- High degree of flexibility, ethical commitment, and collaborative spirit.
