MAJOR DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Supervision and Quality Improvement Tasks:
1.1. Daily supervision of the nursing team, task distribution, and workflow coordination.
1.2. Organizing regular meetings for the nursing team to follow up on performance, challenges, and needs.
1.3. Periodic performance evaluation of the nursing team and reporting to management.
1.4. Monitoring and ensuring the implementation of quality standards approved by the Ministry of Public Health.
1.5. Forming and managing specialized committees that contribute to improving center performance, safety, and service quality, such as the Community Committee, Infection Control Committee, Risk Management Committee, and other committees supporting development and continuous improvement.
1.6. Ensuring the collection and analysis of service quality data and preparing key performance indicator (KPI) reports as a core component of the quality management system, enabling evidence-based decisions and overall center performance enhancement.
2. Clinical and Technical Support Tasks:
2.1. Providing guidance and supervision to the nursing team.
2.2. Conducting daily and regular evaluation rounds in clinics and triage rooms to monitor procedural compliance.
2.3. Monitoring the implementation of nursing policies and ensuring the safety of beneficiaries.
2.4. Organizing internal training sessions to enhance the nursing team’s competencies and keep them up to date with scientific and professional developments—e.g., techniques for measuring blood pressure and blood sugar, cardiovascular risk assessment, wound care and dressing changes, health education for chronic disease patients, and documentation procedures.
2.5. Identifying external training needs for the nursing team in coordination with the center manager and HR department.
2.6. Ensuring the availability of medical supplies, resources, and tools necessary for smooth workflow within the center.
2.7. Preparing work schedules for the nursing team and adjusting them as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
2.8. Participating in providing nursing services when necessary to cover shortages or during emergencies.
2.9. Ensuring the readiness and safety of medical equipment in coordination with the administrative team, with regular follow-up on equipment condition to guarantee availability for use at any time and confirming that preventive and corrective maintenance is done on schedule.
2.10. Coordinating with the administrative team to ensure prompt repair or replacement of any malfunctioning equipment and thoroughly documenting the status and functionality of each device.
3. Coordination and Communication:
3.1. Preparing monthly reports that include workflow observations, areas for improvement, and training needs.
3.2. Coordinating with the center manager and medical advisor on work mechanisms and strategic planning.
3.3. Participating in administrative meetings and submitting regular reports on progress and challenges.
3.4. Coordinating with the medical team to ensure smooth and high-quality service delivery.
4. Infection Prevention and Control Tasks:
4.1. Conducting regular competency tests for staff on hygiene practices, especially handwashing according to approved protocols.
4.2. Monitoring the implementation of infection prevention policies across all center departments and ensuring compliance.
4.3. Following up on the daily sterilization of medical instruments and ensuring complete documentation of sterilization cycles.
4.4. Monitoring operations in the specimen collection section to ensure compliance with infection prevention and biosafety procedures, including the safe disposal of needles and sharps.
4.5. Regularly assessing the work environment to identify infection-related risks and suggesting preventive measures to mitigate them.
4.6. Participating in staff training on the latest approved infection control protocols.
4.7. Submitting regular reports to management regarding compliance with preventive measures and addressing any breaches or observations requiring action.
4.8. Coordinating with the center manager to follow up on infection control performance indicators.

2. Valid nursing practice license from the Ministry of Public Health.
3. Membership in the Order of Nurses in Lebanon.
4. Minimum of 5 years of experience in primary healthcare centers.
5. Strong clinical, leadership and supervisory skills.
6. Proficiency in both Arabic and English.
7. Computer proficiency, including use of the PHENICS program.
