ECO Centre Host - Decent & Sustainable Livelihoods in the Circular Economy

We’re thrilled to introduce an exciting new initiative to drive sustainability and minimise waste in our local communities!

Live Love Lebanon [LLL], with the financial assistance of the European Regional Development and Protection Programme (RDPP III), is pleased to launch a call for applicants to collaborate with forward-thinking businesses and entities. We’re inviting you to become a key part of this initiative and open an ECO Centre on your premises that will be a collection point for recyclables from nearby residents and local businesses.

Selected entities will sign franchising licensing agreements and contracts with LLL and LIVE LOVE Recycle [LLR], ensuring commitment to the terms and conditions, including operational standards and job creation stipulations.

LLL is a Lebanese NGO dedicated to creating social and environmental impact through community-driven initiatives. Since its founding in 2012, LLL has worked to empower local communities, foster sustainable development, and enhance awareness and engagement with Lebanon’s natural and cultural heritage.

In this project, LLL will collaborate with LLR, an initiative specialising in innovative waste management solutions. LLR will provide comprehensive support throughout the project, including utilising their waste collection platform, application, and operational expertise to ensure the effective functioning of the ECO Centres. These ECO Centres will serve as community spaces for waste management, education, and environmental engagement, combining the strengths of both organisations to drive impactful change and promote sustainable practices across Lebanon.

OBJECTIVES

The project aims to enhance decent and sustainable livelihoods for refugees and host communities in Lebanon by leveraging opportunities within the circular economy, mainly through the implementation of Hubs and waste management initiatives.
