An Invitation to Young Changemakers in Lebanon
Are you ready to action for peace in your community?
Do you want to grow as a leader, connect with like-minded youth, and make a real
difference?
The YMCA of Lebanon, in partnership with the YMCA of Finland and with support from
Ministry for Foreign Affairs -Finland, is proud to launch 2025 its 13th, 14th and 15th
Leadership for peace camps.
This initiative is more than a training, it is a journey. A journey where young changemakers
from across Lebanon come together to learn, lead, and shape a more peaceful and inclusive
society.

What the Program Offers ?
The Leadership for Peace 7 days residential camps will equip youth with:
• Leadership training to strengthen your voice
• Peacebuilding tools to transform conflict
• Civic engagement skills to drive positive action
• A supportive network of peers and mentors
Together, we will explore how to create safer, inclusive, and united communities starting
with ours.

Who Can Apply?
We are looking for motivated youth aged 18–30 years old living in Lebanon who are:
• Passionate about making a difference
• Open to dialogue and learning from others
• Willing to engage sincerely and actively
• Able to commit to sleeping at the YMCA camp Fares Rass-El Maten for 7 consecutive
days.
• Never participated in the YMCA peacebuilding camp before, or We ‘am journey for
peace
No prior experience is required, just your energy, curiosity, and commitment.
