Marketing and Communication Specialist

Salam LADC is looking for an experienced marketing specialist for RISE Project, the selected candidate will be responsible for delivering practical marketing training to project participants and contributing to the development of communication materials, including managing the organization’s social media presence.

About Salam LADC:

Salam LADC supports vulnerable populations in Lebanon through providing direct aid, running various projects and facilitating the efforts and initiatives of independent volunteers and organizations. We provide a platform for international volunteers, grassroots initiatives, and private and institutional donors to coordinate their efforts towards assisting and empowering refugee and other vulnerable populations across Lebanon, whilst also serving as a link to the major local and international actors.

Salam LADC is looking for an experienced marketing specialist for RISE Project, the selected candidate will be responsible for delivering practical marketing training to project participants and contributing to the development of communication materials, including managing the organization’s social media presence.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Train beneficiaries to foster their entrepreneurial initiative through a tailored marketing and communication training for small businesses in home and online retail.
  • Provide ongoing guidance, mentoring, and feedback throughout the training period.
  • Develop material/curriculum for the training sessions as necessary. 
  • Develop and implement content for social media platforms.
  • Prepare visibility materials and content.
  • Maintain and update website content.
  • Collaborate with internal team to ensure coherent communications across all platforms.

Qualifications

  • Degree in media, communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a marketing, branding, social media, or communication position.
  • Strong writing and editing skills in English/ Arabic. 
  • Previous experience in teaching/facilitating classes on social media or marketing is an advantage.
  • Strong digital marketing and social media management skills
  • Ability to simplify complex marketing concepts into accessible, actionable lessons.
  • Knowledge of low-resource marketing approaches is an asset. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
