Community Outreach and Registration Volunteer

Position Summary:

Women now for Development - Lebanon is seeking dedicated and motivated volunteers to support our outreach and registration activities in the Chtaura and Majdal Anjar area. Volunteers will engage with local communities to identify and register individuals and families across various age groups who may be eligible for our programs and services. This role is essential to ensuring that our assistance reaches the most vulnerable and in-need populations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct field visits in Chtaura / Majdal Anjar and neighboring areas to identify potential participants.
• Inform community members about the organization's programs and available services.
• Register participants using google docs.
• Coordinate closely with the Project Manager and report on daily activities.
• Respect and maintain confidentiality and dignity of all participants.
• Represent the organization professionally and ethically in the field.
• Attend trainings provided by the organization to strengthen knowledge and skills.
• Adhere to the organization’s policies, code of conduct, and protection principles at all times.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of a High School Certificate (Baccalaureate) or equivalent.
• Resident of or familiar with the Chtaura and Majdal Anjar areas and their communities.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage respectfully across all ages and backgrounds.
• Basic knowledge of data collection and record-keeping.
• Fluency in Arabic.
• Previous volunteering or outreach experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated respect for confidentiality and handling sensitive information.
• Proven ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultural and national backgrounds.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office is an asset.
