Quotation for Appliances- Ebdaع Project -GIZ

LLWB, in partnership with GIZ, is conducting a program entitled “EBDA3” “Energy Efficiency for business women and digitalization awareness”, aiming to provide comprehensive support in specific energy and business developments topics to 25 women-led MSMEs in two regions: Southern Baalbek and Hasbaya, Lebanon.
This program catalyzes the efforts of LLWB and its strong commitment in implementing the SDGs. First this program aims to ensure access to reliable, affordable and clean energy solutions for MSMEs that are localized in 2 regions of Lebanon, as it has a specific goal which is the energy sufficiency for women led businesses and entrepreneurs. In this regard in 2024, LLWB has in a first phase performed a needs assessment of the energy needs and capacities of each of the MSMEs of these regions. Based on it, training on energy efficiency tailored to the needs to each MSMEs were performed during the months of July and August 2024.
Based on the needs assessment performed, and on the training and coaching, sessions tailored for each MSMEs, each MSME has developed a clear business plan, and a presentation including the equipment needed to grow their businesses.

How to Apply

Interested Suppliers are requested to submit the following documents to careers@llwb.org in separate files, mentioning in the subject of the email “In-kind support-Appliances supplier for 25 women-led MSMEs in Southern Baalbek and Hasbaya"

  • A Financial proposal as per the excel sheet attached in PDF. Title of Document should be: Financial Proposal for “In-kind support-Appliances supplier for 25 women-led MSMEs in Southern Baalbek and Hasbaya. The lump sum should cover all means (including taxes and transportation and installation and training on usage).
  • Copy of passports or IDs and Lebanese financial registration documents.

  • The payment fees by LLWB, once supplier is selected and items delivered with satisfaction and on time will be processed via a code at Bank Audi.

  • Deadline for applications is 19 June Noon time (Lebanon time).

    Delivery Terms:
    Delivery must be completed by the end of July,2025
    • Offers that do not comply with this timeframe regarding installation and delivery time will be disqualified.
    • The offer must explicitly state the proposed delivery period and capacity of delevering and installing and training on items.
    • The supplier is responsible for delivering the items on-site in full working conditions.
    • The supplier must prepare, transport, and hand over the items to the designated locations in Hasbaya and Southern Baalback, Lebanon (exact location will be provided upon contract signature).
    • All costs related to delivery, transportation, VAT and handovers must be included in the unit price of the offer.
    Important Notes: Any quotation will be automatically rejected if:
    • It is submitted after the stated deadline.
    • It does not cover all items listed in the attached excel.
    • Not all cells in the attached Excel sheets are filled in.
