GBV Social Worker

Task 1: Planning and implementation responsibilities:

● Plan and conduct psycho-social support sessions and awareness sessions for beneficiaries at the primary health care centers, community centers, and outreach field level.

● Prepare and conduct recreational activities for participants.

● Ensure safe identification and referral for beneficiaries to GBV Case Worker.

● Attend training and meetings when available or requested in coordination with the field coordinator and Program Coordinator.

● Prepare and submit reports and documentation for activities in a timely manner and report directly to the Field Coordinator and Program Coordinator.

Task 2: Facilitation responsibilities

● Keep track of all material needed for each activity.

● Coordinate with the GBV Case Worker, and the psychologist to prepare the list of the participants interested in the vocational training. Other tasks ● Respect and abide by the organization's internal code of conduct;

● Represent Amel Association, when requested and necessary;

● Attend and participate in local and capacity-building events as needed/Actively participate in training throughout the year;

● Be available to attend and participate in internal and external meetings;

● Meetings with other program staff are required and will be on a timely basis;

● Maintain positive relations with other team members;

● Ensure the utmost confidentiality of the beneficiary's data and information;

● Perform other duties as assigned by the GBV Program Coordinator.

Requirements, Qualifications and Skills:

• BA in Social Work, Sociology, or any relevant field experience.
• 2 years of relevant experience
• Fluency in Arabic and English
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, ability to adhere to ethical considerations and principles in regard to working with vulnerable populations, ability to work as part of a team, and participate in all activities of the GBV-SRH Program.
