Background:

The project aims to strengthen community-led emergency response mechanisms in Dalaa, Old Saida, Lebaa, and Barad Street—areas currently facing heightened vulnerability due to socioeconomic crises and fragile inter-communal dynamics. The rationale stems from the urgent need to reduce tensions and build local resilience through sustainable, inclusive, and context-specific interventions. 

The project will work through local community committees to implement survival-focused initiatives that address both immediate needs and long-term social cohesion. Committees will receive targeted training in conflict sensitivity, gender equality, protection, and community needs assessments to better manage resources, foster dialogue, and lead localized responses in times of crisis. 

This intervention directly contributes to DCA Lebanon’s country program objectives by promoting social cohesion, empowering local actors, and enhancing emergency preparedness and response capacities through a rights-based, participatory approach. It reflects DCA’s commitment to strengthening local civil society and promoting peace in fragile settings. 

The project will provide training for the committee members in Dalaa, Old Saida, Lebaa, and Barad Street under the following topics:

1. Communication for conflict prevention training in Emergency setting to local committees.

2. Protection in Emergency training to local committees.                                 

3. Humanitarian principals training to local committees.

4. Community needs assessment in emergency settings training to existing committees

Development for People and Nature Association (DPNA) requests your price quotation for training proposal specified in this Request for Proposal (RFP).

All quotes provided should meet the specification(s) listed, and include the following information for the criterion listed, which shall be used in evaluating the best quotation:

• Candidate’s relevant experience in the field of assignment / CV.
• Proposed workplan including deadlines and topics of expertise (Please Select two topics at most).
• Copy of the ID or Passport
• Not subject to legal proceedings from the court (Clean Judicial Record).

Quotes submitted shall remain open for acceptance for a minimum of 6 months from the last date specified for receipt of quotes. The selected Applicant (s) shall provide the training topic submitted.
